Have to agree with Pardew about Arsenal lodging a bid on the day of a game.

Unneccessary.

Gotta play mind games with similar league competition.

Also do people not understand the point of low bids? Obviously clubs don't expect to get a bargain but more to cause unrest with the player. If the player is interested in a move then the official bid will get them thinking and talking to their club and manager which is more likely to force a move. Then by the time they go for a larger, second bid the transfer has a higher chance of happening.

Yeah low bidding always happens.

Low bids are like people going through the denial stage of the 5 stages of grief, you know it's not gonna do the job but you're bidding hoping that it will, until you get to the depression and acceptance stage and just shell out the cash

Or unless you're Wenger, you're forever stuck in an infinite loop of the denial and bargaining stage

What I don't understand is every shitty manager need to come forward and talk about everything in public.

If you don't like the offer ignore it. Don't open your gob and whinge about it to the media.

Di Marzio says Anzhi want more than the £30m offered by Spurs and Liverpool and want the £5m he got as a signing bonus repaid.

They must be joking expecting Willian to pay back his signing on bonus when it is Anzhi who are wanting to offload star players. Not Willian's fault the owners of the club have lost 241 million euros recently and now need to cut costs.

Theres also talk they may want Eto'o to pay some of his last years wage back(he's been paid £14mil for this season) as he's already been paid his full contract.

We got linked to Chris Samba in the last 24 Hrs. Wonder how much Anzhi would want for him considering their financial problems actually (they forked out $12.5M quid to take him back from QPR).

According to Di Marzio Spurs have won the race for Willian, who is in London having a medical

I know he hasnt gone yet, but Spurs are providing a great lesson in how to sell a star player and still improve your squad significantly.

Cant see them finishing outside top 4, even without Bale.

There have from what I can see. On the phone so not sure if shopped or not.

Where? Can't find them anywhere. There were also a few reports of Willian being spotted at Manchester airport yesterday.
