Daisy will end up playing under Malthouse. Buckley shouldn't be weeding out players that are good enough to win games of footy. If that's the case they only needed a new coach, not the other way around- a new group of players, which in mean time is costing our club success.

We will be on the receiving end of it but we will also benefit from it too.

It is what it is. Hopefully we don't ever lose a Gary Ablett or Buddy Franklin type but that's life. Geelong moved on beautifully and I'm sure the Hawks will too.

You won't have to wait long, I'd say by lunchtime on Friday it will be public what offers have been made and will also become pretty clear which club he's leaning towards.

He had a good year.

He only got smashed by Tippett and Cameron.

Tippett gets 9.8% leeway than the rest of the forwards in the comp and most of those 4 goals were the softest free kicks as usual when playing Swans.
Cameron...well lets just say he almost won the Coleman in a team that won one game for the year in his second year.

He may have also been beaten a couple of other times this year but that's because the Collingwood midfield is shithouse.

Brown did a number on Roughead and a few other premier forwards in the comp. Key player.

You seem so keen on putting the scrutiny on Buckley for our failings in the last 2 seasons how about putting our former coach under the same spotlight for his performance as coach after TFS in 2011.

I think that rotten bastard actually cost the Club a very valid chance at the 2011 flag,more so than any damage Buckley has caused because in 2011 we actually had the players to be big chance.

While we are pointing the finger at Buckley it might also be prudent to recall the cost to our chances in 2011 that both Shaw and Thomas did with their selfish actions.

If Buckley feels we would better served having them gone on recent evidence I would agree.

Many of us can see that Bucks has never had the full list of Premiership players on the park. Hawthorn slid for a couple of years as they dealt with injuries and re-jigged the list after 2008. 5 years down the track and how many of that side played in the 2013 flag?
If Heater and Daisy are out because of Buckley, then you have to attribute Swan's year to Buckley's coaching as well. How far away from Ablett was he?
I don't think those who are blaming Buckley's changes for blokes leaving would ever give him credit for Swan's form this year.
The icon's of a club are the ones you have to watch because they have a tendency to think that they are untouchable. They get a bit too comfortable and when there is a change and expectations of them rise, the comfort zone is gone.
I just wish someone from the club would tell us exactly the attitude of some of players was when Bucks took the reigns. We could all stop guessing about the appropriateness of Bucks' approach.
