Regardless if they're not in our future, we've got to play our mature guys to support these young guys. This isn't good for anyone.

I agree, everyone has been poor today .. but the senior guys haven't exactly been tearing it up in the ressies either ... not sure who really deserves a spot more than the guys who have been given one today.

I love that we won't chase or tackle, but if the opportunity arises to lazily smash into the back of an opponent with a cheap shot after they mark the ball arises, we will take it every time. It has happened 5 times in the last 1/4.. Really tough uncompromising culture at the lions.

A season of this is going to have a crippling effect on persuading juniors to either keep following or start following Brisbane. How many parents are going to want to take their kids to the Gabba for the rest of the year?

Demetriou certainly nailed when he said that Brisbane will be fine, Brisbane doesn't need special assistance....
