Having another attempt, this is what I have:

Carlile - Hooker - Hibberd
B Smith - Taylor - Birchall
D Beams - Boak - Selwood
S Johnson - N Riewoldt - Gray
Bruest - Hawkins - Schulz
Sandilands - Ablett - Pendlebury
Kennedy - Jones - Rockliff - Cornes

Not sure about Cornes being in the side, wouldn't be in Port's top 5 mids right now!

Heath shaw done enough to be considered? Averaging 22 possesions, 17 kicks and 6 rebound 50's.

cornes is awesome for us, but all australian i dont think so. Great run with player possibly the best, but in our top 5 mids or the comps top 10 mids i cant see it. His pos's sought of inflate his abilty

B: Jack Hombsch, Eric Mackenzie, Michael Hibberd
HB: Kade Simpson, Cale Hooker, Brodie Smith
C: Dayne Beams, Nat Fyfe, Scott Pendlebury
HF: Robbie Gray, Nick Riewoldt, Brent Harvey
F: Jack Gunston, Tom Hawkins, Luke Breust
R: Aaron Sandilands, Gary Ablett, Josh P. Kennedy
I/C: Joel Selwood, Tom Rockliff, David Swallow, Adam Treloar

Adel: B.Smith, D.Talia, P.Dangerfield

Esse: M.Hibberd, C.Hooker
Frem: N.Fyfe, A.Sandlilands, M.Johnson
Geel: J.Selwood, J.Bartel, T.Hawkins, S.Johnson, H.Taylor
GC: G.Ablett, D.Prestia, D.Swallow
GWS: H.Shaw
Haw: L.Breust, S.Burgoyne, J.Gibson, G.Birchall, J.Roughead
Melb: N.Jones, D.Tyson
NM: B.Harvey, N.Dal Santo
Port: T.Boak, B.Ebert, C.Wingard, R.Gray, J.Schulz, A.Carlile
Rich: D.Martin
StK: N.Riewoldt, L.Montagna
Syd: J.Kennedy, T.Richards, N.Smith, L.Franklin, J.McVeigh, N.Malceski
WC: E.Mackenzie
WB: R.Murphy, T.Liberatore

A very, very rough group 50 that tried to include a player from each team. Thinking Sloane, Treloar, Heppell unlucky, Murphy/Shaw/Montagna lucky?

From that 50 the only guys I would say need to be in everyones AA 22 would be Ablett, Pendlebury, Gray, Hawkins, Sandilands and Kennedy. They are the 6 standouts for me. You could make arguments, however fragile, for not having most others in imo.

Parker would be 2nd in line from the Swans for an AA place

Steve Johnson and Joel Selwood havent been that good, if they make it with form similar to there current, ill shit brix.
They've had rough patches but are still influencing games (maybe not Johnson this week)
Would've thought Talia was the pick for CHB over Taylor.
Then again I'd go Carlile or Mackenzie at FB and either Hooker or Talia at CHB.
Talia's definitely my next in line, but Taylor's had a very underrated year. Not as good as his usual years, but still as good as anybody IMO

I like having a tagger and Cornes is the best tagger in the AFL right now

Gibbs the only one I'd take out and put Dal Santo or Sloane in that spot. The rest of your side is pretty good.

Gibb's averages 25 disposals, 10.5 CP's, 5 clearances, 5 tackles and a goal despite playing with a broken hand for the first four rounds of the season.

Personally I don't believe that he deserves a AA nomination just yet but he would be leading the Carlton B&F atm. If he keeps his current form up for the rest of the season then he could easily be in contention though.

Theres about 20 mids infront of him at this stage, maybe by the end of the year he might be a chance but atm no way.
