You will find a bunch of their rich lawyer members doing a shitload of work pro bono and if they manage to win will try and claim their costs back from ASADA... but something tells me that any potential cases they might have have already been locked down tighter than a scotsmans wallet.

As for Essendon* trying to go to the supreme court to say that the joint AFL/ASADA investigation was illegal... well they are ****ed because the joint investigation was for the AFL's governance charges. Part of those charges stemmed from the supplements investigation which ASADA shared some of their findings with the AFL commission.

Those findings (the interim report) made up part of the AFL's findings which they released last year.

Essendon* are in some serious shit... slipping down the drain... frantically trying to get purchase on anything which could save their arses.

So Essendons first defence was that a dog ate the homework, ie no records and we don't know what they got but we do know it wasn't illegal and you can't prove any different. Didn't work, surprise surprise . Now they aiming for a technicality, the procedure was flawed.

Why not just prove your innocence, and if you are proven guilty, take your medicine?

How can the fans and the players not be screaming blue murder at those who got them into this?
