You have to laugh at the irony of North defeating all of the top 4 yet probably finishing outside the 4.

They can beat anyone up the top but can they do it 4 weeks in a row?

I think Hawks will finish 5th.

Tougher draw than the rest and i think the injuries will take a toll eventually.

Like I said 5th at the end of the minor round at best.

Not good enough this year can't see us getting ant further than a prelim at best.

I did a rough prediction and by no means a certainty. Freo 18w, port 17, syd 16-17, geel 16, hawks 15.

Looking at Norths draw they could very easily win all of them and finish on 16 wins.

Hawks in trouble now. Adelaide at AO, Collingwood, Sydney, Freo (Perth) and Geelong all still to come. Would have to win at least 3 of those 5 you would think.

Hill was a late withdrawal then we lost Sewell in the first quarter tonight.

McEvoy not getting a game because of form.

Wouldn't have mattered because we were comprehensibly outplayed tonight.

I imagine a reaction not only to the loss, but the additional (possible) absences of Lake, Hill and Sewell in the coming weeks.

Difficult to assess top 2/top 4 confidently even at this stage, given the following matches are still to come:

Port v Sydney
Hawthorn v Sydney
Hawthorn v Geelong
Geelong v Freo
Freo v Port
Freo v Hawthorn

Plus games like tonight's where upsets happen. I wouldn't write the hawks off yet, although their absences could find them finishing 5th or 6th if it gets any worse.
