I just think the final system is still a sorry a#sed failure.
Just under 50% of all teams in the comp surely are not worthy of a tilt at a premiership.
The last decade has shown that mostly anyone above 5th is just helping the AFL make a little more money.

Sydney didn't even play that well last night, it was one of the all time worst Preliminary final performances I have seen.

North have a habbit of being putrid in preliminary finals, 2007 were smashed by 87 by the Power who then went on to embarrass themselves the following week after Geelong fell in against Collingwood, not suggesting we will beat Sydney by 100 points next week if we can make it through but lets not get carried away with Sydney's performances last night against the 6th best team in the competition who were shot to pieces.

Yeah, he's tried using reverse psychology against us quite often this year. Hawthorn playing Carlton? Cool, I'll talk up how dominant the Hawks have been over them for ten years and maybe that'll fire up the Blues!
