Let Beams go to the media on Wednesday. I'll be happy if Buckley gets exposed before we get even worse. This crisp bullshit is the last straw.

Heard Nothing about it Today so I don’t know where that Stands

Yeah it could be all BS. Who knows maybe Crisp is apart of the trade but doesn't end up at the Pies. All I know is Crisp has potential and most Lions fans are happy to keep him if the deal doesn't end up happening.

We was always going to get Shafted with Trading Beams. You never get back what you trade out when it’s a Gun like Beams.

Well I am guessing Hine is a Big Fan on how Crisp has Improved and We pick Jack Frost in the 4th round in the Rookie Draft or 2012 and now is our FB.
Hine a big fan of Crisp? Give me a spell mate. It's all they want to give us, nothing to do with Hine being a fan of him!!!!!!

Why do we have to see your negativity posted twice all the time?

If we sign off on this deal,it will be hugely embarrassing for the club and a major backdown which will be noted by other clubs for their future dealings with us.We stated categorically that we wanted a senior experienced player in exchange for Beams,so to cave in when a fringe player like Crisp is added to the deal is a humiliating backdown no matter how the club spins it.And what happened to the club's statement that they will be looking at other clubs to trade Beams with?It doesn't look like we've explored that option very seriously at all.

Did Buckley molest your dog?
Seriously.... Your opinion is getting old.
He's still there. The problem has NOT gone away. We are no closer to a flag than 2014. Buckley is 4 years in to his reign as coach and the list is in worst state I've seen it since 1999.
In fact the 1999 playing list that won the spoon is better than the 2015 playing list.

The age article contains words like 'most likley' and 'probable'. Seriously? The radio was running with this?
They fill in gaps and speak to anyone who 'may' know what's going on, often dealing with information third or fourth hand.
Let's settle down and quit with the 'sacking' and 'Buckley out' BS.

...and with that comment, what's left of your credibility is gone.

Well said. We will be known as a club that backs down in trade week.

Have the club actually gone back on their word yet?

I was under the impression that we have said that negotiations with Brisbane have ceased. I took that as meaning that we will no longer be trying to make this work for Beams, his management or Brisbane. It don't think this statement precludes Brisbane coming back to us with something better than previous.

The fact that we showed our hand a little by being wiling to accept 5, 21 and 25 gives Brisbane a base line. 5, 25 and Crisp is probably on par with that deal. We told Brisbane that we wanted pick/picks and a player. They added one in Crisp. Doesn't mean we will accept it but Brisbane did come back with an improvement of only 5 & 25. Just my take.

Uhm, 3 years in, we are still in 2014. And as the trade / draft period has not ended, how the **** do you know what the 2015 playing list looks like?

Exactly. And Peter Schwab also definitely said they won't be backing down from 5 + 25!

Welcome the n00bs to ****en trade week!!

Agree with the first part.

I do not agree Crisp is worth a pick 21.
They are getting Christensen for that!

Clearly we didn't hope for this outcome. It's the club who emailed us saying we won't accept anything other then 5 and a good player. They backed them selves into the corner. Explanation needed.
No they didn't say that. In fact they said they'd tried to broker a deal involving only draft picks but this too fell through. The current mooted deal sounds like a variation on that one.

I implore everyone who is disappointed in the club's backdown to e-mail Gary Pert. ( garyp@collingwoodfc.com.au )

I have done so and told him to stick my Legend's membership if the club goes back on it's word.
Clicked the link.
Told him if they back down I'll buy membership but I'm not showing up if they back down from the deal.
