Six days... of opening submissions. ASADA must have hired the best hot-air lawyer in the world. They must've been playing Cluedo with ASADA taking too long on their turn going by some of the *Essendon supporters.

Pretty sure those Essendon flogs still think that ASADA have nothing against them.
So that's 6 days of nothing.

The distinct lack of Le Spud articles claiming that ASADA have nothing, means to me that * aren't leaking, or that * have come to realise just how rooted they are.

I wonder if they were told to stop running them as they werent helping

More the case that they were banned from attending. So they have nothing to leak.

Is he back at work yet?
I'd imagine he'd be somewhere holding the end of the bar up.

I think his 4 weeks at the Denniliquin Caravan Park finishes this weekend........

Trying not to defend Essendon* here but this protracted/delayed hearing for the players is unfair on them, and the club. Assuming the players are given suspensions, doesn't give the club much time to field/find able replacements for round 1 is it (let alone the pre season games)

Seriously getting sick of ASADA they are now arranging pre-planned meetings to discuss planning a meeting about setting a date to plan a meeting about the correct procedural matters in this case.

Its just lawyers and bureaucrats milking it out as long as possible.

Just quietly DaVilla, I reckon the Bombers haven't been too bad at milking it and dragging it out.

Bullshit.

ASADA laid out their case over 6 days because that's how much evidence they had. Lots of it. What makes you think ASADA called on procedural matters, when it's most likely Essendon who are trying to wriggle away with a technicality? They just got smacked with 6 days worth of evidence and now they seem to be panicking. Most realistic is probably them trying to settle on a timeframe so they can discuss each individual player. Why on earth would ASADA ask for a brief break when they know their case is strong enough, being tested time and time again?

Unfair on the players and the club, haha, who are you kidding mate? Essendon and their players put themselves in this position, not ASADA. So forgive me if I do not weep for their minor inconvenience over a two day delay when they have made this entire thing delay for months by initiating court action.

True, but still ASADA have had plenty of time to prepare their tribunal case by now, unless you believe the lines coming from the Essendon camp that ASADA's case and evidence is falling apart.

Hypothetically, if the Bombers were to be given say 6 months bans, and basically miss the entire season, is that the end for Saint James as coach ? Suspect he would fall on his sword if that happens (well if he had any integrity left)
