Walsh is answering questions on facebook from 3pm AEDT (2:30 SA time). I wonder if he will prove the new no spin philosophy and answer some tough questions about the captaincy decision.

Poor bloke will have to wade through the "LOLOLOL Danger is coming to Pies/Cats/Dees/Tigers/Hawks/Every club other than us" rubbish from facebook numpties. He's not gonna get any hard hitting questions.

A no-spin philosophy doesn't mean that all the inside club dialogue has to be aired. For 'club dialogue' read - open, honest, manful discussions devoid of pussy footing.
 
and there was Walshy's sense of humour on show at the end. So the challenge is out to Josh - if he can perform like Gary Ablett he gets to go to next years superbowl :D

Also listened to Jenkins on Sen a few days before, talked mostly about the NFL surprisingly but said that Walsh is a hard task master, scary, but is a great communicator and is clear with what he wants. If I'm not mistaken this was one of the main issues with sando, being unclear with what he wanted.

Less said about the NFL at the moment to me the better *grumble*damn broncos*grumble*

Spot on with the communication issues and players not knowing where they stood from week to week. Walsh has his plan - he tells them what it is, makes sure they understand, and then starts implementing it is my take on what has been happening at our club, and I couldn't be happier.

thank christ he gets it (although I'm not surprised by any means of course).

couldn't believe the brain-dead mobs in here last year targeting guys in our back 6 for our defensive issues. As far as direct matchups go we look great down there (if inexperienced) - but there's nothing you can do about an avalanche of ball coming back in off our half forward line.
 
re Facebook. I'm not into facebook. In fact I'm pretty much an outsider to most things 'social media'. But what I did notice however with the list of questions posed of Walsh was the number of infantile, brain challenged, malevolent,truculent, jealous 'questions' from PA people (and I use the term loosely). How can humanity so exist, let alone go forward?

Shaw having lots of strategies & confusing the players <> good strategist!

It's a main reason he was our worst coach.

Nothing wrong with my memory - unfortunately remember well as was hard attending those 2 seasons.
