I'm in a world of pain right now. The fixture just came out for my league in Adelaide. Both our byes (Queen's Birthday, Interleague), North play in Blundstone and Gold Coast. I will only now see my beloved North boys once until September. Doesn't stop me buying a membership, but it really stings.

If the Indonesians execute the 2 aussies we should cut our foreign aid. Im aware what they did was wrong but you can clearly see that they are reformed and want to make something out of their lives. I feel most for their parents I can only imagine how hard it will be to say goodbye. Surely the government has the power to stop this. I'm sure there are differing opinions and I don't mean to offend anyone

Its a pretty shit pilot. But the fact that it's even looking at being made in some form is a good thing.

That said, how do u know they are reformed? People will say and do anything to not be killed.

They did the crime knowing the risks and people blaming Indonesia for implementing their own rules is misguided IMO. As harsh as their rules are.

I just wish our country would grow a pair and start shooting child killers and mass murders in the head.

I have given my death penalty system much thought. It would only be used in the most extreme of cases.

Those guys would be on the first plane back to wherever they came from. If they had have succeded then no question. Bullet. Head.

With you on that mate. Unbelievably barbaric a bunch of men standing up with rifles and shooting defenceless people standing a few metres away.

Threaten to cut all aid to Indonesia and see what happens. Ban all travel by all Australians to Bali and other parts of Indonesia and see what happens.

No doubt mine is a very simplistic view but what the hell. Yes they did the wrong thing, they are criminals, but these boys will be dead very soon unless our Government introduces these measures.
