The Texans have reached a deal with Brian Hoyer, according to NBC4's Dianna Marie Russini.

Aside from maybe the Jets or Bills, no team was more desperate for a quarterback than the Texans. Hoyer isn't a game-changer, but he's about the best Houston could do in a thin quarterback market. It's still possible the Texans could bring back Ryan Mallett and have him compete with Hoyer for the starting job. It's been reported by the New York Post that the Jets would likely pick up whichever quarterback Houston decides to discard, likely Mallett or Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Talks still ongoing with the Jets's as well now?

Is Chip Kelly rearranging all the deck chairs on the Titanic??

I'm surprised there haven't been more stories like this. Free agency hasn't even started yet, so what's wrong with other teams upping the ante?

I know footage of Edelman taking Harris to school multiple times exists. If I can find it, I will appropriately link it for your viewing pleasure. If not, I will retract my commentary and offer you a full and unreserved apology.
Patriots vs. Broncos 2013 - Edelman Schooling Harris (+1min mark). Also, I scrolled through the All 22 of the Round 9 contest against the Broncos. It seems I was wrong. Edelman schooled Harris, Talib, Ward and basically all of your DBs. It seems unfair to single out Harris for a match up he can't contain.

You would really want to re-sign Revis at this point
No doubt. The signing of McCourty was important as he takes away the deep middle portion of the field. With Revis, he takes away one sideline. That combination proved incredibly effective in 2014. The reality is, the Jets may offer guarantees the Patriots can't match. It would be an awful shame to lose Revis given the lack of quality top end CBs on the open market. Potentially losing Revis significantly weakens the Patriots Secondary.

9ers can't catch a break

Bruce Smith reportedly arrested for spousal abuse a few days ago

Must be something in the water

Apparently they are going after Hardy too. Wonder if Ray Rice will end up there too

Sounds like #raiders are very close with iupati, knighton, gresham.

NFL: Three-time Pro Bowl G Mike Iupati plans to leave the 49ers and sign with Cardinals, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports -via ESPN
Tease. Waiting for Knighton and Gresham to sign elsewhere as well.

Whats everyone thing about the talk of the 9ers listening to offers for Keap? i would not be shocked if its true, they say its not. But i think they said the same about the rumors of trading Harbaugh to the Browns last year which ended up being true. 9ers are a sinking ship and with the mass exodus i cant give them the benefit of the doubt.
