Will make our win against the Dockers all the more special.

Grima fit is a mighty fine footballer. Adams fit is better than Nahas. Mullet fit is better for us than Jacobs.

And then who do you drop for Wells and Dal?

I disagree anyway. Nahas is a goalscorer and has been important - Adams was terrible last season. Jacobs is comfortably a better defender than Mullett.

And Grima fit is a pipedream at this stage.

B.S. to Spud. " Michael. You have given this club great service over many years. We on the match committee would like you to be our captain & lead out the team Saturday night. You can set the example and we will all follow "

Nahas isn't good enough and has been shown up the majority of his career against decent opposition.

Adams has been injured for a long time granted. Doesn't mean I can't bemoan his injured status. Grima fit could allow Tarrant fwd should Brown also miss.

Mullets run and carry and decent disposal would be awesome on the wide open plains of Subi.

Wells swallow and Dal available ? Not sure who we'd drop but am confident Nahas would be one of them.

Oh well, thems the breaks. Looks like Spitta is back in his PJ's for a few weeks.

Obviously Dumont is the man.

Not sure if this has been mentioned elsewhere but did anyone else notice that LT wandered into a few centre bounces on Friday night and did quite well in there? Smart move in my view, with Boomer and Nahas still able to crumb up forward and allow Jack and Cunners to "rest" occasionally, on the ground up forward, rather than on the bench.
Yes I did, LT was great in there and long may it continue.

Tarrant is settled and is a quality defender. Let's keep him there.

For wells swallow and nds- it would likely be for dumont who comes in for swallow, then the least performing players of McMillan, Jacobs, Bastinac, McDonald or atley. All are young, show promise, and will hopefully rebound.

Nahas and Lindsay are keys to our success and small forwards are outrageously in.

I call Jack.
I think it will make him play bigger, better, harder.

Better.....stronger......faster.....

Wanted to press "Like a Lot" but couldn't find the button for that.

It could galvanise the team even more, as you're obviously alluding to, but apart from that what a great gesture it would be.

From your personal collection Grogg? My six million dollar man is missing his left foot.

We can rebuild him.
We have the technology.

Big shout-out to fusion who basically called this exact scenario:

Would be suprised if it was just a week. I dont have any specifics about his injury, but it sounds like he has had a k-wire inserted to stabilise the bones whilst they heal. I haven't done or seen that kind of surgery for 10 years but some of other posters here saying they had 4-6 weeks off with a broken thumb is more in keeping with what I've seen previously.

He (Lindsay) has done it a few times this season. He's bloody good at reading the ball off hands so on a night where Sandilands will probably get his hand to a lot of the ball he might come in handy when it comes to sharking.

Problem is that he's also our best forward. Would love to clone him.

Thompson was also out suspended last year when we won. We can win on Saturday, I'm just not entirely confident.

Freo weren't going all that flash when we played them last year.

THeir short break after a hard game helps.

the fact that they are undefeated and we play them over there doesn't.
