I think Sydney and Melbourne will be the destinations in 2017. Would fill out ANZ and the MCG easily!

Sterling starts for Man City.
First touch he got booed, stood on the ball and fell over.
He recovered to win a corner, but the bronx cheers were still loud on the replay.
...Then he scores an easy one after the off-side trap fails abysmally.

I thought he may have deliberately underplayed in the 2nd half of our season and given he could've been tapped up, the fact he's back to his lively self fits that. Still it was awful defending and other than the long-distance Norwich goal in 13/14 we haven't seen a killer finish from him.Yep, was enjoying the boos until he shut everyone upLooks dangerous, looks determined to send a message.
What a goal by Pjanic![]()
Which is why I don't think we'll buy anyone else. They'd love another shirt-seller like Pjanic, but without UCL it will be hard to get them. Plus they might want to hold some money in case they go the chop and go the Klopp.Jordon Ibe vs Adelaide United:
Would be very surprised if he didn't have a big impact for us this season given his current trajectory, in all the talk about how we're going to fit in all of these big money players in the final third it's easy to forget about this guy but if he continues the way he's going it's going to be incredibly difficult to leave him out.
Jordon Ibe vs Adelaide United:
He is looking sharper, stronger and more confident every time I see him. That rare combination of skill, elite speed, strength & balance make him one of those players who are just impossible to defend against when they're up and about. In terms of his physical attributes he reminds me of a typical South American forward - big ass and thick around the core making him extremely difficult to knock off the ball (Suarez/Tevez come to mind).

Anyone thinking Gomez maybe winning that LB spot over Moreno atm?
He was super impressive last night in the 1st half I thought.
We'll see how he goes against PL opposition.Anyone thinking Gomez maybe winning that LB spot over Moreno atm?

Liverpool can come to Perth if they don't mind![]()
They will once the new stadium is built.
- Would have liked to have seen more of Markovic, and am surprised with how little we have seen of him so far. In fact, given the size of the squad we brought out here, I don't really understand why we haven't used more of it.
