Seems for the first time in his career Pendles has experienced his first hiding in front of the Collingwood faithful, and is spitting the proverbial dummy.

Drafted in 05, 3 GFs, and successful finals appearances from 06-13 is a pretty good run. A captain like Nathan Jones will be lucky to make finals before he retires for Melbourne, and certainly could have pulled this card plenty of times but doesn't.

Boak too could have pulled this crap in 2012 but stayed stoic and weathered the storm waiting for the rats to jump ship before finally and deservedly getting the captaincy and some on-field success with his teammates.

Just seems like Collingwood expect the prime-time slots, big sponsors, record memberships and finals campaigns just because. They don't seem to understand the equalisation system of the AFL and for the first are eating some humble pie perhaps.

Johnny Holmes is a big unit with a great leap but more impressively has a lot of nous of where to palm.I reckon he got 3 hit outs to advantage that quarter and one nice back tap down a team mates throat. He also goes in hard when the ball is on the ground. Will be interesting to see how his marking and kicking goes.
