Haha it was more than writing. He was told specifically before the end of August that he was no longer in their plans going forward.Interesting - saw the writing on the wall, I guess.

He's living with Mitch and Dylan Orval? How do you know all of this? lol.Just thought I'd provide some info. in relation to Paul Seedsman and his forthcoming departure.
Buckley and Co have always had very high hopes for Seedsman. His line breaking pace and long kicking always appealed to Buckley and provided a point of difference to our other players.
However, Seedsman has no one else to blame but himself for the fact that he is no longer wanted. The club has been warning Seedsman time and time again this year about his off-field behaviour and his off-field lifestyle in general. When he injured his hip again a week or two after anzac day, they warned him not to go out but he refused to listen. They were disappointed that he chose to live a bad lifestyle instead of dedicating himself to getting his body absolutely right in the way a Pendlebury, or of the new-comers, a Scharenberg would.
All year they have had chats to him about his party lifestyle, yet the penny never dropped for Paul. Paul isn't a bad kid but he lives a lifestyle where he is easily influenced by his group of mates who aren't professional footballers and are able to go out a few times a week. His living arrangements (living with his two mates who do the Angry Dad videos) haven't helped and the club has not been happy with his living arrangements.
It got to a point where the club believed they had spoken to Paul and tried to guide him as much as they could that they have now given up. To put it frankly, they believe he has pissed his AFL career up against the wall. What makes it more disappointing is that Paul loved the club as a kid and if he had a more mature head on his shoulders, would have made a success of his career at Collingwood.

Any indication where he might end up? From the sound of it, an interstate arrangement seems unlikely which would mean him giving up his 'party' environment.Just thought I'd provide some info. in relation to Paul Seedsman and his forthcoming departure.

A move to, say, Adelaide might be the best thing.Any indication where he might end up? From the sound of it, an interstate arrangement seems unlikely which would mean him giving up his 'party' environment.
The best thing for him would have been to pull his head in and stay with us. Maybe the penny has dropped now. Adelaide would indeed be the best place. You don't want him to see him going to Brisbane with his attitude, that won't do him any good.A move to, say, Adelaide might be the best thing.

Straight swap for Danger![]()
They've gone out on a limbAnd there goes my plan. Herald sun has headline running that Danger is going to the Cats.
I kind of remember Buckley saying a couple of months back something along the lines of Seedsman needed to decide if he wants or has what to takes to be an AFL footballer. This adds some context to those comments, which at the time I took to be more about consistency.Just thought I'd provide some info. in relation to Paul Seedsman and his forthcoming departure.

Training standards and monitoring are so advanced these days - it's not gonna be for everybody.I kind of remember Buckley saying a couple of months back something along the lines of Seedsman needed to decide if he wants or has what to takes to be an AFL footballer. I like the idea of it, but GWS will definitely want our first pick this year. This will enable them to pick up both highly rated academy players, plus possibly a top 10 pick to go into the draft with - so potentionally 3 top 15 picks.Okay so this probably wont happen and I think someone alluded to it previously but if Aish was to nominate another club and Freeman and Seedsman were both traded for 2nd round picks would people be prepared to pay a little over for Treloar in order to keep this years first round pick and possibly next years?
I'm thinking Treloar for 2016 2nd rd, 2015 3 x 2nd rd, 2015 3rd which will still land GWS a lot of points for this years draft.

Assuming Freeman was traded to St.Kilda, Seedsman to North who make the prelim and we finish next year in 8th place the points total would be:
2015 2,512 pts
2016 653 pts
Total 3,165
Equivalent of pick 1!
Paul Seedsman to North Melbourne for their 2nd Round Pick.
North's 2nd Round Pick + Our Current 2nd Round Pick to Brisbane for James Aish.
Nathan Freeman to StKilda for their 2nd Round Pick.
Saint's 2nd Round Pick + 1st Rnd 2016 + 2nd Rnd 2016 for Adam Treloar and Adam Tomlinson
Out: 2015 2nd Round Pick, 2016 1st&2nd Round Picks, Freeman, Seedsman
In: Treloar, Tomlinson, Aish
Leaving us with Pick 7 this year to bring in another gun or use in draft on say Sam Wiedeman or Callum AhChee.
Arrrrr heck ITNot allowed![]()
Kennedy to Crows for 2nd rnd instead and use that pick? Not allowed![]()
So I wake up at 2am to get a crying 2 year old back to sleep and the first thing that pops into my head is "how would our midfield rotation work if we got Dangerfield and Treloar?"
But given that on AFL 360 Gill basically said he knew what Danger was doing, then 2 days later, as soon as the Crows are out, the HS runs the story that he IS going to accept Geelong's offer, I suddenly feel less inspired to come up with a midfield rotation. They could be wrong of course, but they stole my mojo.
Now I'm just tired. F### it, I'm going back to bed.
Zzzzzzzzz...
I don't miss those days!
So is Buddy doing drugs and screwing his mates missus?Haha it was more than writing. He was told specifically before the end of August that he was no longer in their plans going forward.
I reckon if we give up 2 first rounders they will throw in Hampton.GWS think they will make finals could see a 2nd round pick coming back our way for next years draft
Hasn't Hampton nominated Adelaide?I reckon if we give up 2 first rounders they will throw in Hampton.

Exactly, Cripps is a gun but thats all they have. We will have De Goey , Treloar , Adams, Crisp, and maybe Aish in our midfield thats leaving pendles out too.Clearly it's not an exact science. Even Carlton gets one right every 10 drafts or so.
