Don't think it will be that exciting. He'll nominate a club and a trade will be done for slightly under what most bomber fans would like. The moves of Fremantle will be far more interesting, trying to be aggressive without high picks.I will be fascinated to see how this one plays out.
Know two blokes who have worked in list management and recruiting at different clubs, and its common knowledge amongst those in the league that you want to avoid having to deal with Essendon in trade week, and I don't know why you'd even argue that considering their history. Nothing to do with "media driven shit".
4 days of failed mediation last year with Ryder as well, in case you missed it.

Andrew McKay said this morning on SEN that he thinks Henderson is worth a first round draft pick. So if Carlton think Henderson is worth a 1st round pick, what will their offer be to Essendon for Carlisle. When it's way unders, will Carlton be accused of "being hard to deal with"?
On football ability, there are 18 clubs that would like to have Carlisle on their list [Essendon included].

Ha, you love squealing troll from the rooftops.Lol 4 days that wouldn't have happened if Port were reasonable. As soon as they were the deal was done.
C'mon Echols you're not normally this obvious with the troll.
Chad Wingard I believe.Ha, you love squealing troll from the rooftops.
4 days that wouldn't have happened if Port had only just handed over one of their young midfielders? Isn't that what Essendon were asking for? Ollie Wines?
Amazingly I have family and friends. You sure know a lot of people!
No their second round pick.Ha, you love squealing troll from the rooftops.

I call bullshitAmazingly I have family and friends.
Who'd have thunk it?
No, you wanted more than that.No their second round pick.
Which we got.
You followed up one obvious troll with another. New name new Echols. Less subtle.
Lol.No, you wanted more than that.
"ESSENDON wants any of Hamish Hartlett, Ollie Wines or Chad Wingard as a “fair-trade” return from Port Adelaide for ruckman-forward Paddy Ryder.
The Bombers’ first preference is midfielder Hartlett who, as a contracted player, can block any trade.
The Bombers delivered this super list to the Power at the opening of AFL trade talks at Etihad Stadium with Essendon list manager Adrian Dodoro telling The Advertiser: “Paddy finished seventh in our best-and-fairest count. So we will take Port Adelaide’s seventh, eighth or ninth best ... we’ll take Hamish Hartlett."
Now come on boncer, if you're going to argue points about what your club supposedly never did, you should at least have some fact to base it on.
But you keep trolling away. Maybe someone will believe you.No, you wanted more than that.

His actions don't strike me as those of someone wanting to be the centre of a re-build. If Carlton draft him I'll be a curious onlooker as to how they re-build. Sounds like a half baked build, with a half chance of being half good. From what I've heard
-Carlisle is likely to nominated Carlton as his preferred club (Wants to be the centre of a rebuild)
-Carlton will offer their 2nd rounder (pick 19 or 20) and will not offer anything higher than that
-If Dodoro declines and Carlton cannot get a trade done then Carlton will push for the PSD option.
I agree, you didn't have 4 days of mediation over Hartlett, but you did have 4 days of mediation over the entire deal which had a flow on effect, with other deals not getting done.Lol.
Come on mate. We asked. They said no.
We didn't have 4 days of mediation over that. But you keep trolling away. Maybe someone will believe you.
Sorry dude, I hadn't read back through the thread.Cmon man, you know this post is a waste of time. I posted the same weeks ago. They won't absorb it.
Dodoro is so misunderstood by everyone but Essendon.
And your initial point was rubbish because, as stated before you tried deflecting, is that Port holding back on a fair trade isn't Essendons fault.I agree, you didn't have 4 days of mediation over Hartlett, but you did have 4 days of mediation over the entire deal which had a flow on effect, with other deals not getting done.
That's the point.
Squabbling over one deal for so long restricts clubs abilities to move on to their next target, or to engage in other discussions. It's why Essendon don't have a great name during trade week, which was my initial point before everyone got a bit melty.

If Port offered the fair deal to begin with it would have been over sooner.I agree, you didn't have 4 days of mediation over Hartlett, but you did have 4 days of mediation over the entire deal which had a flow on effect, with other deals not getting done.

Were we difficult to trade with when we helped you land Shaun Burgoyne?3. No one wants to trade with Essendon if it can be avoided, as they are continuously painful to resolve trades with, year after year.

Your proposal see's him accepting less cash, shorter deal and shafting the club he said he wanted to ensure was adequately compensated (based on reports). Just can't see it IMO.
If Port offered the fair deal to begin with it would have been over sooner.
This is all Essendon's fault of course. Port tried to screw us. Even pulled oogga boogga clause during negotiations. AFL promptly told them to pony up the offer.
We wanted more. Didn't get it in the end and gave away Crameri for unders. The nerve. Bloody Essendon giving away players for under their worth.Explain the delay to the last few hrs with Crameri? We offered our mid 20's pick first day and Dodoro accepts our first day offer at the last minute. Master negotiating or being a time wasting dick?
