Having seen quite a bit of VFL footy this year I'm nervous about Hrovat. I think he can make it but his size makes it iffy. What does he add that Fantasia, Colyer don't already and Laverde will in the future?

As much as I hate Essendon, that is a crap deal for them. Picks 30 and 35 are insignificant in this years draft, and Carlisle has far more currency than Hrovat.

Everyone in footy Knows Collingwood is the worst club to trade with. They have been forever. They want gold for every departing player & they want to give up peanuts for players they want to get. Perfect example was Beams last year.

Back to Carlisle. It looks like St Kilda are pushing hard to get him. They speak highly of him so pick 5 might be in play as some media experts in the so called know have came out & suggested.

I do think it's about time Carlisle does tell the club of his preferred destination. As I pointed out in a previous post my workmate is best mates with a North Melbourne player who's told him North was Carlisle's preferred destination but both parties walked away unhappy by how the meeting went. Maybe Carlisle is holding off hoping North change their minds but I think it's pretty obvious their loss on the weekend as highlighted a bigger need & as a result has put Carlisle further down their list.

My source told me that North have met twice with Carlisle, and made no mention of how the meetings went. I'd assume that North are still in the running.

His behaviour will have ramifications in the Carlisle situation and you will get unders. If you'd have developed good relationships it wouldn't happen.

Fair for the club wanting him.

Crameri was our leading goal scorer, we are now in a position where daniher has no support up forward, so we have to drag 2 AA quality defenders to the forward line to help him out.

If Daniher had some help, we'd be in a much better spot. I'm happy for dodoro to request more for crameri. It's not like he wanted pick 1, he wanted a pick in the late teens.

What we get will be determined with who he nominates, and what that said club can realistically give up for him. Infact, ports list manager and dodoro seemed quite complimentary of each other if you listed to the recent draft podcasts the afl site puts up.
