Henderson is currently leaving Carlton, I strongly suspect they wouldn't need or want to trade for him; they're after a KPD from GWS to go with the KPD they're a dead certainty to take with pick #1, the names of both escape me.

When people say "Adelaide can't use free agency to replace their missing (Tippet-gate) draft picks, they would've been able to get Eddie Betts AS WELL as the elite kids in the draft", this is the argument I use.

If we still had Tippett, we'd be paying him $800k or more a year. If we drafted some young first/second round draft pick kids, we'd have had to pay them more of the salary cap. As such we had a hole in our salary cap which wouldn't have existed otherwise to use on Eddie. IMO we need to pick up another free agent in the next 1-2 years to further bridge the gap.
