Eh, I'm not a huge fan of BJ. I feel like he is kinda overrated by the AFL media.

On SEN they mentioned BJ as a possible "Ryan Griffen trade" of 2015 suggesting that he might want to get to a club that will push for a flag in the next 1-2 years, feel was mentioned as that team.

Would you like BJ at the club? He can play all 3 areas, has very good kicking skills and could come cheap next year, what I mean is he is a 700k player so Essendon may be keen to pay a big chunk if his salary meaning we could end up paying 400-450k for him.

Is he the type of player we need? Prob not but I think we should look at it atleast

I get the Geelong backline is ageing but where does Henderson play next year? Hawkins, Clarke up front, Taylor and Lonergan down back. He's hardly a third tall at either end.

Longergan will wind up end of next year, they are just bringing him in a year early while they have the chance. Probably split games between him and Hendo to ease him in to their style.

Personally reckon they'll have a spike, but just don't have the young talent coming through to maintain it.

I agree, I don't rate their kids, they look ok when the veterans are holding up the side, but no Johnson, Bartel and co I. The future will expose them. Selwood and Danger together will be interesting,

Cant underestimate how much a good finger pointer can influence a game. Do they test for it at the draft ?

Melksham plays at AFL level, Hrovat mostly at VFL. Melksham is worth more than Hrovat currently.
IF Hrovat plays well next year, he could over take Melksham quickly.
