Same as when they caught Ricky Henderson in the change rooms. Not the players fault.

Easy fix. You don't have to pay their salaries this year, but you can't bank it forwards for next year.

If the players are being paid their whole salary it should be part of their cap.

However, if they are only paid 50% of their salary, I reckon it is ok the club can use the savings... But then they lose the concessions for the payments made for the replacement players.

But this is a case of having your cake & eat it. All player payments need to be part of the salary cap or it makes a mockery of the salary cap.

Or they all get added to Essendons who blow their cap. The players are getting paid, it has to count somewhere.

The AFL are amateurs

It has to be counted by someone's cap.

Bit like the bullies paying for Griffen.

So Port knowingly recruited a drug cheat and will now be able to outbid us for any young SA kid wanting to return home as well as keep the drug cheat

It's bulls*t the advantages that other clubs get they we don't. I hope we show some balls for once and publically voice our outrage to this.

I bet they'll tolerate her just fine if she's competent.

Maybe tolerate was the wrong word. I am thinking more along the lines of blatant sexist insults. We all know there is a difference between competent and being seen to be competent. I have seen umpires absolutely crucified by a crowd purely because the right decision didn't go the crowds way. I hope we have plenty of woman umpires but the crowds have to be educated and they still haven't got racism right.
