I'll be in the Audi club, so in between stuffing my face and peering over the buffet at the football outside I'll be booing my gizzards out. Will probably boo more if they run out of Oysters and Prawns.

On a more serious note - he is just a symptom of what football in the Generation Y era has become. There is no such thing as player loyalty to club, as clubs are not loyal to their players. It bothers me that he left when the club was at it lowest point (after the passing of Walsh). Phil obviously knew something was up when he didn't entertain him becoming Captain. He deserves some boos, hopefully we only hear it less than 12 times!

The car pool karaoke videos... They were the ones that finally did me in.

The man's a certified attention whore. Perfect scenario on Friday night? We win. Crowd completely ignores him. Selwood gets zero free kicks.

Chances of of all three happening? I'm just looking up the odds on sandersbecomesamod.com

Boo?

Oh, I'm going to boo like I've never boo'ed before.

I might even chuck in a few weak dog comments, a couple of you're a cowards and a few go home to your mum - dangercampaigner.

If I'm ever to be booted out by security, it will be this Friday night.

He didn't have to lie. He could have said "I'm not discussing my contract at this point" whenever someone asked.

Also I wouldn't have minded it if he was honest and announced mid-season that he was leaving. Gives us time to prepare for games without him
'Im not discussing, Ive put talks on hold, I havent thought about it.' All different ways of saying the same thing. We know what the code means.

Except that "I'm not discussing it" is the 'truth' (in a sense) whereas "I haven't thought about it" is a blatant lie. It's all in the way you choose to say it, even if the inferences are the same

Will and should cop a spray from the whole crowd, why the hell wouldnt you!

To think it will fire him up, if anyones noticed he is destroying the competition ATM he cant play any better, maybe a bit of abuse may take the edge off!

I don't have any problems with it, I don't really think it's poor sportsmanship, and if you want then go right ahead.
However I hope that boos him, players get used to the noise at games and he would love to be put in the spotlight, he will lap that shit up and he'll probably end up best on ground.

Would be quite strange as well if the whole crowd would go silent every time he Had the ball after day a mark. Would be pretty funny and could possibly put him off more

Probably impossible to organise, but if it could be done, we should do it, If we actually want to do something that has potential put him off his game.

Geelong fans certainly did boo Ablett and still do.

To mess with them we should pick another player to boo all game.

Haha might actually frustrate him if focus is taken away, he's already talked up this game and the anticipated attention.

He'll thrive on it if we do. The best way to express any feelings of disdain we have towards the Sheik of Moggy Creek is to ignore the fact that he's on the ground.
Agree. He feeds off the attention and will play better. Best way to nullify him by one of our players hanging off him all night. Few jumper punches and the like. He's easily rattled when the heat comes. Ask Bernie

Fair enough. Personally I dont really care about the charade, its just a means to an end. The end is the part that bothers me.

I agree with this, booing will only spur him on I reckon. I reckon total silence and possibly even turn our backs on him, like he did to us.

There's no good way to leave a club if you're a wanted player
