As usual, please use this thread to discuss the game or, if emotional, the melt thread. Personal attacks won't be tolerated and opposition trolls will be carded without mercy.

Well, a pretty good game from us if you ignore the third quarter. I know we can't though :(

Quite a few positives, quite a lot of negatives. No injuries or suspensions which is in itself a big win.

Go nuts yall, preferably a civil kind of nuts.

What a positive 1st half. If we can take away something from today, it's that the young players stood up and made some positive decisions.
Our experienced players in the back line were substandard. Sutty has to go to WAFL, surely. Mundy didn't have a great third quarter. We need a shake up down back. Not many players damaging off half back and taking the game on. Think we are the worst in the league in terms of rebounding from D50 as well as turnovers from that area too. Sheridan will come back in, I'd say Grey should get a shot again.
Missed having another tall in Pavlich. Taberner did so many things well, didn't get beaten many times in the contest.

Solid effort, but lets face it, we still can't kick, it's a joke that these blokes are actually professionally paid footballers when week in and week out it's turn over city. Blakely is Barlow 2.0, showed a bit to work with and will stay in the 22, but the bloke is a seriously s**t kick. Crozier is looking better. Tabs plays better without Pav. Sutcliffe is one of the worse players in the AFL, that's a fact.

Suban should never play again. He's just not up to it.

Sutcliffe needs a run in the magoos. He's being played out of position. If we can't find a spot for him on the wing then we shouldn't try to make him into a defender, he's just not.

Taberner and Crozier did a lot today to quieten the haters. Both of them will be a big part of our future.

Good comeback by Clancee Pearce, was one of our better players today.

Don't know about no injuries, if Hill has an abductor he's looking at 3 to 4.

It's like we made a list of the most important players we couldn't afford to get injured and now the footy devil is working his way through them one by one.

Son Son and Neale must be our only two A graders who haven't been injured this year.

-We were well and truly in it for 3/4 quarters
- We lost this game on our own accord, terrible kicking out of the back half
- Time for Sutty to go back to the WAFL, Sheridan comes straight back in for him
- Hughes well and truly beaten but i think we should stick with him for another week
- Blakely showing real signs when finally given time in the middle, extremely mundy like today (couple of steps out and he is in space)
- Langdon started to get involved in the last, Crozier was solid all round today he really benefits from us hitting him as a target
- AP is a gun
- Walters is brilliant in the midfield, chucked him forward in the last and he snagged 2 goals aswell, the outside version of fyfe.
- Clancee probably earnt himself another go, shows that time in the wafl can help a player to find form

I enjoyed the game today, except for the 3rd Quarter. Loved watching the efforts of Weller and Tabs. AP was sleek once again.

He's a "defender" who can't kick and lacks any strength (Rarely wins 1on1s can't hold a tackle). He's not needed anywhere. He needs to stop d-riding Fyfe who gets him games.

Yeah let's hope they rested him as a precaution, probably leading the fairest and best with Walters and Neale atm.

Good assessment. Thought Tabs killed a lot of contests and got the ball to ground well. Took a few, dropped a few. Will learn.
Crozier looked sharper for 3 out of the 4 quarters. Good foot skills.
Clancee tried hard and was far from our worst. Tackled well. seemed to find some space too.
