23 possessions & 9 tackles. Hardly the worst game.

10 more touches than the guy he has allegedly unfairly kept out of the side all year.
Mate pelase. It doesn't matter how many possessions or tackles he gets, he is done. He is slow, doesn't chase, his disposal is horrendous and has never been worse. He is just done plain and simple.

If he goes on I will be very disappointed, he will embarrass himself next season if he does.

There was one piece of play on the eastern wing, he should have shepherded instead he just ran on the spot and did nothing.

Other times players ran straight past him.

If he and the club can't work out that it's time they are dumb.

Genuinely hoping for a press conference tomorrow.

He's a legend of the club, but he is done.

We have a slow midfield, but what kills us is we have a stagnant midfield.

There is no run and carry, no dare and desire to take the game on; Thommo is a massive factor in that.

He needs to retire, immediately; we keep playing him and our other old duds, and this is yet another wasted season.

He gets 23 touches and a heap of tackles purely from being the inside mid we try to tap to most or he's the first tackler right there.

Thats not the issue. The issue is the 2nd and 3rs touches from the opposition when they have it. They just waltz away with it and leave him in his tracks.

Don't watch his stats. Watch him live at the game trying to keep up with opposition mids. Its blindingly obvious he can't and its costing us on the scoreboard.

Also, he has 2 of his replacements already playing: Matt Crouch and Lyons. When Thommo goes that allows us an extra runner in the side such as Knight or even perhaps Hampton/Menzel.

I think the sad thing is while he is obviously trying, mentally he checked out after his milestone game. You just can't carry guys like that.

Our whole team balance is stuffed because we refuse to move on Thommo or Mackay.

It's pathetic.

Maybe they feel Mackays elite run balances out Thommos lack of pace therefore both ar required players.

It continually amazes me that so many novices such as ourselves can see this and have been calling it forever Yet it completely escapes the payed experts.
