You get the feeling it's just a matter of time before we hear of Elliot being suspended for four games, missing testing, falling into phase three, etc.

-------------------

ESPN's Ed Werder reports the NFL "seems content" with Jerry Jones' "rebuke" of Ezekiel Elliott for visiting a marijuana store in Seattle.

A league source did tell Werder, however, that there remains a "pattern of behavior concern" with Elliott, who is also being investigated for domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend. There have been no developments in the domestic violence case. Elliott is in the clear at the moment, but he needs to start walking a finer line. The NFL is certainly keeping a close watch.

===================

After Ezekiel Elliott reportedly visited a marijuana dispensary in Seattle prior to Thursday night's preseason game, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones deemed Elliott's decision "not good."

TMZ reported Elliott visited a weed shop named "Herban Legends" just "hours" prior to the game. Although recreational marijuana use is legal in Seattle, marijuana remains a banned substance by the NFL. The website's sources did say Elliott "didn't buy or smoke anything in the store." It sounds like Elliott was being a typical tourist. "Well, I think that in and of itself the reason we are talking about is in a way part of the learning process," Jones said of Elliott's decision to visit the weed shop. "But it's not good. It's just not good. It's just not good."

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports the Browns were asking for a "second-round pick and then some" in exchange for suspended WR Josh Gordon.

No team is going to give that up for Gordon, who is suspended for the first four games and is another strike away from an indefinite ban. The Browns have denied they're looking to deal Gordon. They'd be lucky to get more than a conditional fourth- or fifth-round pick. After missing the early part of camp due to a pulled quad, Gordon will make his preseason debut Friday night.

Getting bent over by the Pats in the biggest game of his life...? .... Or..?
No movement of the feet and spraying it.

Take Cam's running game away and he's one of least accurate QB's in the NFL.

Run Cam, run.
