I know you added lol, but is it just me, or the teams/ coaches that play a generally spaced out/ spread game like Collingwood (kind of), us, Lions and Freo all have terrible years have something in common?

new rules hurt us/Freo/Pies - loss of the supp player and the increased aggression on the deliberate out of bounds killed our grind/possession game

Gives us a nice mix of kids, 23-26 year olds, and some experienced heads.
We can then continue to buff the list with good drafting and hopefully stay up.

They are still recovering from the belting on the weekend plus they have better things to do like dress up the players for a function.

As far as i'm aware it's only the other selections in the future draft not both drafts. We just wouldn't be able to trade a first in the two years following under the rules of having to take at least two first rounders selection in the draft in a 4 year period. We would be absolutely stupid to trade both our first rounders in our current position though.

To be honest, so am I, but I'd rather the club get some balls and have a crack, instead of recruiting some f***ing potato that is about to get delisted from Brisbane.

We have nothing to lose any more. Hardwick's last season and zero expectations after the abortion of a year we just had. I'm at the point where I just don't give a f*** anymore, so we may as well take some risks and see what happens.

What the hell, it has been 30yrs of mediocrity so far why don't we roll the dice. Offer Ellis, Edwards, Conca, and lids (if he wanted to) for Prestia, o'meara & our 2nd rounder back. Then take the 2nd rounder get Stewart & Downie (may need a sweetener) from GWS to help our kpf & ruck stocks. Take pick 6 to the draft & snare English. Then use our vickery compo on an inside mid.

Out: Lids, Edwards, Ellis, conca, Vickery

In: Omeara, Prestia, Stewart, Downie, Vickery compo

Take to draft: pick 6, 20's (Vick compo), and 40 odd
