No won't happen and the Suns are not going to accept that trade.

Deledio won't be at Geelong... Now or on the future.
Why do people insist on inventing stories and then running with them.
Thought he was a last minute part of the GWS/Blues 4 player swapNo idea, but as I recall he requested to go home as he was struggling at Carlton. (correct me if I'm wrong)
http://www.boundforglorynews.com.au/menzel-trade-to-do-more-harm-than-good/To make it clear, Carlton initiated the trade with Adelaide, offering Menzel up as opposed to Menzel saying he wanted to leave.
In fact, Menzel recently moved into a new home in Melbourne, signalling his desire to stay

Our nominated players we could possibly take:Has anyone seen any of these guys play or even know which geographical zone they're from? I assume the three indigenous guys are from Arnhem land but assumptions are a dangerous thing. Also seems none of them were listed for NT, so it seems unlikely they'll get scooped up by anyone else.
So far that's proven a pretty inspired decision.Kinda, he went to Adelaide for Kerridge and pick 28
pick 28 and the henderson pick went to GWS for pick 11 and the four GWS players
I reckon if we go all the way this year there's a fair chance that all of Enright, Bartel and Lonergan will retire on a high. If then you assume that Clark, Vardy and Kersten will all depart that leaves quite a number of list spaces to fill. Horlin-Smith is another that has been mentioned in the trade whispers. From the rookie list Bates will be delisted.
We won't go to the draft with any more than 4 picks so I can imagine that we will be more active than we may have initially intended in trade week.
I think we debated the Mooney/Hawkins parallel a while back. Hawkins is the age now that are young key forward could be added or we will have to look at in system players in the next couple of years...eg. 2mp Easier said than done... really good KPFs usually go early at the draft .. and there are not a heap this year anyway.
It was mentioned that we may be looking at Kerr , he is not the big banger type , probably closer to Kersten than Hawkins but would be a good add...but one can only draft who is there with the picks you have. Not a great way to solve a hole in the list or an immediate need. (edit)..just to add , one GWS academy kid I liked that has not been talked about much was Zac Sproule. In ways he reminded me of Blitz , very mobile with a good tank ..he would be worth considering , and GWS may not match all bids.
Id say we would have to look at House as a Rookie and if we did lose all three , we need to ramp up the trade in approach ..players like Jimmy Stewart and Harry Himmelberg at GWS should be looked at... No idea really what it would take to move them.
Another option will probably be to play Henderson forward and find another defender. Henderson would probably be better than most available players.
I think that's true although one thing in our favour is this draft seems more midfielder heavy than most in the last 3-4 years so one or two of the good talls will slide, but certainly it's hard to draft good tall forwards with the picks we have. I like Sproule and Kerr I would be happy to get so there will be some draft options. In terms of any KPF's to bring in from other clubs I haven't thought enough into making a list but obviously we will be getting guys with some flaws (as we don't have the trade capital for an elite one) but the key is you want someone who is ok enough to be immediate depth next year but has potential to really develop if one or two edges are rounded out. I am sure St Kilda thought Bruce would be the former when they traded #48 for him but they must have felt he could also become the latter.
On Henderson I would prefer not to see him forward, he strikes me as an A grade almost AA level intercept defender who would be just a B grade middle of the road forward, it is not the best use of him. Sure he is a better option than throwing a first year drafted player in or Buzza, but it should be our last resort in terms of something we do to cover injuries. The ideal plan is to never have to use him there.
Atkins, Sexton, Floyd and McLaughlin all training with the seniors throughout the finals series. Would have to be a good sign that they are at least looking at them for national and rookie drafts.
According to a few of the VFL boys that i am mates with, Lucey is gone and Clark has retired.
The weird thing with Bruce was that he was an U18 all Australia as a forward but because he wasn't taken through the draft he didn't have the value that the prestige that being a first rounder gives player. GWS played him back since they already had Cameron, Patton and few others.
Stanley doesn't worry me, the look of joy on his face after the siren was absolute gold. He is exactly where he needs to be.
NoDaniel Wells set to leave North, wants 500k a year for 2 years. I'd happily take him if we could make room
He's a free agentNo
Can only imagine how hard Norf will play in a trade for him ...good luck to any teams that chase him ...my guess in GC will go hard for him and Harvey I reckon
Wells or Boomer? He's a free agent
Well, I meant Wells, but Boomer is as wellWells or Boomer?
Either way it's still a no for me thanks
He could be a good player for someone he's a quality player. But he hardly plays and is 31 makes no sense that a club would offer him 2 years. Well I get why they will as it means he might take it rather than signing for 1 at North.Daniel Wells set to leave North, wants 500k a year for 2 years. I'd happily take him if we could make room
They are both free agents as will be the other players they will delist Petrie and Dal Santo.Wells or Boomer?
Either way it's still a no for me thanks

I can see him being handy to a team like GC as I feel they will try and copy the success/model of GWSHe is an unrestricted free agent he would cost nothing except salary.
That said at 31 I think he is too old for us.

I'm expecting Boomer to go up there for a year or two...which will be ironic with the whole Norf GC move fiasco all this years ago
Hard to think of any that will take on a 31 year old with an injury plagued yearWells will go for success not a rebuilding club at his age. A contending Vic club you would think.
