Acted what way? Put the club ahead of the desires of a 38 year old?

Our club should have retired off the old-timers a lot sooner, it held on for a few years too long out of loyalty and in the process jeopardises the legacy of 100+ players in the process. The club has a duty to the players and to the supporters to be the best and win premierships, players going around now who are 22-25 should know the club is focused on achieving that, not padding on as many games as humanly possible to any individual player.

Clubs that don't make the hard calls don't get anywhere, as a Richmond supporter, you should be well aware of that.
