interesting reading going around about GWS's salary cap. apparently the AFL brought it back in line with the rest of the clubs a year or two ahead of schedule. no wonder there are so many leaving

do you really think with his tank he can be a mid?

jesus he makes minchington look like mo farah in 2016
Don't know but if he gets selected I'd be pretty certain more work would have been done on him than by BF posters. Could be wrong though what do your tests show?

i watched 100% of port games focusing on 1 player because of the keeper league i was in. he's a plodder, listen to richo.

heres a numerical stat for you anyway since you wont believe riches eye test.

he went over the LEAGUE AVERAGE for disposal eff% 8 times in 2016. think of how many plodders bring that down who can't kick and he can only clear it 8 times playing as a loose man in defence

his 2016 season stats speak for themselves.
Was he playing injured though? No one's disputing that he had an ordinary year this year, we all know that, the question is why and I dare say those closer to the situation will have most if not all of those answers.

I'm sure if someone had Armo in their fantasy keeper league this year and watched him as closely as you did Hartlett they'd likewise think he was a "plodder", who couldn't run or spread and if they weren't aware he'd done practically no preseason and then had some more injury issues during the year they might have thought that was just what he was like all the time.

I want Hartlett, the bloke can play and is very much the type we don't have. He's a big body that can go inside and out, uses the ball well and doesn't necessarily need 20+ touches to impact a game. How do we get him? No idea.
Lies. All lies. Needs over 30 to have any impact on a game. He's shit.

Are you sure it was salary cap. Thought I'd heard it was squad size so the afls changes to academy points had some teeth.

yes he came off maybe in 3 games for shoulder issues this year but returned, even in the WCE game he came off with the same injury i think 2-3 times (but kept coming back on) and looked scared of any contact.

I'm not talking about injuries that the public are aware of, I'm talking about the type of ones that are kept quiet, that are probably responsible for most of the poor individual years that those who have previously been good at AFL level have. For instance, we weren't aware that Joey had been playing with a crack in one of his legs until after the season finished a couple of years ago and it seemed to really affect his output/performances. He was getting hammered on here, yet was playing with a broken leg.

On big footy it seems really hard to get a positive reaction to trading in any established player. They're either good but too expensive or list cloggers.

Youngsters on the other hand are always future guns and steals who will be the second coming of some Brownlow winner or other.

I can't help thinking that this forum is the main reason I only want to give up pick 10 for a collection of kids.

Currently thinking Steele, Corr and Ellis-Yolmen (somehow) would be my ideal if we were to lose pick 10. Changes every hour or so though.
Do much yes about this post. So true.

You forgot to mention that we can get them all as FA's next year.

Despite what his manager has said, if we could turn Longer into Hartlett via a 3 way, you'd gotta do it.
Deep ruck depth is good, but good midfield depth is better.

I'd be surprised if Richmond weren't interested in Billy. Hampson is ordinary and old, Maric is cooked, Vickery is out the door.

6 to GC for Prestia and 24

Billy to rich for 24

24 for HH.

I'd do that for sure

Maybe Richmond throw GC a later pick (42 or a future 3rd) to make it more appealing for GC

I'll trust the club with the call, if Richo thinks that he can get the best out of HH, and maybe give us a little bit of this;

Then I'm all for it.

that scoreboard :p:p:p:p:p:p:p

Given how much improvement Richo has been able to get out of so many who we've gotten from other clubs (who've been able to get out onto the park) such as Bruce, Membrey, Hickey, Weller, Savage and Roberton, if he could get someone as talented as Hamish playing his best footy again and he only cost us a pick like 20, we'd be laughing.

Richmond wanting to offer a future first for HH. Dear god, draft you idiots. You're cooked, you need to rebuild
