He is certainly worth more than the proposed deals that I see on here on a daily basis

They're not early first rounders. It wouldn't be pick 5 and pick 8 for Gibbs, it would be pick 13 and probably something like pick 14-18 the following year.

Quite frankly, it's not unreasonable at all to expect Adelaide's 2016 and 2017 first round picks. With Gibbs I would be confident in saying that they would finish higher next year than they did in 2016.

Bare in mind it will be pick 13 and likely pick around 16...which are far less valuable than say 2 x top 8 picks.

So 'first rounder' is too vague, it's two picks In the teens.

I can confirm 1981 PM'd me the rumour before it broke, so to misquote ZZ Top, it's got legs...
