How would you rate Max Gawn right now ... on past form or his 2016 AA form? Some players take a little longer.

Whiley in the crows side would be no worse than Lyons. Fringe Midfielder who can accumulate reasonable stats when the side is up and about.

At the same ages Gawn went from being a serviceable young player to an Elite established player, Lyons went from poor young player to an average established player.

An average 24 yo mid is not what we should be looking for. At least someone like Hrovat who at 22 years of age is average but has time up his sleeve.

Okay, you don't rate Gibbs. I get it.

Plenty here do though and he is still a quality player and will be for years to come whether he stays with Carlton or not.
