100% brown & gold in 2017 then........
And simmo close to retirement?Byrne off his ACL, Tuohy seemingly out the door, there's a spot there.
Fyfe - keen on a move to Melbourne, reportedly had/having issues with teammates who may lack the professionalism he has, sees the window closing once Sanderlands retires, did I mention he's keen on a move to Melbourne!
Judd can be a great salesman!!!
Money no object and Freo will not match, Fyfe not a gold digger but he knows his 'brand' will be off the charts if he gets to Melbourne...
Blues want him which usually ends up in one result!!
We are going to build a team of 1 ruck, Casboult at FF and 20 defenders. We are hoping Cas can kick enough points to keep us in games.Cat is offIcially out of the bag. Adam Kennedy aye?
Do we need anymore HBFs though?

Read somewhere, earlier today and buggered if I can find it, he visited 3/4 clubs in Vic and was very impressed with our setup.
Wild idea, but I could see us going hard at Fyfe, next week. If we could flip 5 and 2017 2nd for the GWS 5 and 15/16 we may just be able to swing it. Fyfe for 15/16 if he requests a trade to us is doable. Better than ADE got for Danger. Freo can then trade one of those for McCarthy and keep 3. (40 is their next pick otherwise which ain't gunna get it done)
Then, I'd throw Tuohy and 24 at Swans for Mitchell and 36. Apparently we are very keen on him still.
Cripps/Fyfe/Mitchell/Murphy/Gibbs - Game over.
Pretty left field to recruit a player that will be out of the game for the next 12 months. Anyway, whatever. It's all speculation.the indigneous will be referring to pickett.
Ahern isnt left field at all.
Maybe it is "short man syndrome".
Bolts has to have the tallest team in the AFL??
No wonder Army hadn't had his contract renewed.
According to the rumours, by the end of trade week, 1/4 of our list will be rotating CHBs...
Wouldn't that be nice.Reckon we could handball them Thomas ?
Fyfe & Cripps motoring from the circle is too delicious to contemplate - consequently..........no.........Read somewhere, earlier today and buggered if I can find it, he visited 3/4 clubs in Vic and was very impressed with our setup.

I meant 15 and 16.This board is hilarious. Casboult for a first rounder. Fyfe only worth 15 or 16, and Gibbs worth 2016 and 2017 first rounders + gun up-and-coming kid.
Fail to see the connection you are floating - Carlton players/where the ball is?To be fair, you need to rotate players through CHB. Most of the time, that's where the ball is...
So what I'm reading the 5 for pick 5 are Marchbank, McKenna, Pickett, A. Kennedy and Stewart. And they were drafted at 6, 23, 4, pre draft and 27.
Fair point, what happens if GWS doesn't/can't trade some of these guys, the elevator is kinda squeezy. Marchbank would be the exception, think GWS would very much have liked to keep him.Doesn't matter where they were drafted none have fired a shot, what was Matthew Watson worth 3 years after he was drafted, not convinced half these guys won't be delisted free agents.
Carlton gun Bryce Gibbs reaffirms his desire to remain a one club player and resist all temptations of a trade back home to Adelaide....We should all pinky swear that at completion of the trade period, WHATEVER HAPPENS, none of us say "Bryce Gibbs" or "trade" or "Adelaide" in the same sentence for at least twelve months....
Patience, it's FA where we should strike - bugger giving up picks when a free pass is just around the corner.
Ok. I'm reading a lot of list management type hypotheticals on this thread and wondering why some of my posts that stray slightly get relocated!! Anyway I will have a go! Someone mentioned a package of Hawks players a couple of dozen posts ago for pick 5. While I am all for us keeping pick 5, it got me thinking as it's all been GWS package talk re pick 5. IF we were to give pick 5 up would SOS be thinking of perhaps sending it to Hawks for a Breust, Sicily, Brand and Schoenmakers (as suggested earlier) package. We could send pick 23 to GWS for Marchbank alone or even inclusive of Stewart and effectively onsend Brand or one of our previously mentioned "lesser-likes"? i.e. 5,23 out and Marchbank, Breust, Sicily (all first 22 players) and Brand, Schoenmakers (definite possible first 22 players - as likely as the regularly mentioned GWS extras anyway.) Again I'd prefer to go to the draft with pick 5 but if SOS is keen to offload it for a bundle perhaps we would be better off in this scenario than the GWS 3,4,5?... packages. Just a thought. Anyone?
I don't rate Sicily as a player or a human.
