It is a revised discussion point on what was already being proposed by some others throughout the various threads.

The alternative others were suggesting is we give up Gibbs & 24 for Lyons & 13 plus the GWS 5 for pick 5. This scenario is worse than what I am proposing so how can it be the worst trade scenario in history ??

At least I was exploring a way and an option to keep pick 5 at the club FFS !!

I didn't say that. I said I'm happy for SOS to lock down our defensive and forward ends first. Midfield doesn't have to be the key right now. I'm prepared to take a little pain at the beginning of the second year of rebuilding.

I'm with you on this. I was always open to trading Bryce but it needs to be for the right price.

We hold all the cards in this trade so it makes zero sense for us to bend over and cop it from the Crows. FWIW, I think we owe them a bit of a tough deal. They practically got Sauce and Betts for nothing and Menzel is worth more than #28 and Kerridge, even though he hasn't lived up to it yet, he certainly has the talent.

So we've got to get one back on them here and I wouldn't worry about taking Lyons + #13 for Gibbs + #24. That is bullshit. Won't happen.

Gibbs + #24 should get us #13 and their 2017 1st. We can't realistically expect much more than that. It will value Gibbs at around pick #8 which seems about right given his age.

As much as i agree with you on the trade, saying youll burn Ikon Park is the overreaction. All week ive heard you blast people when they throw out trade ideas even to the point where you said the other day that youll "kill yourself" if a certain trade came about. So i guess im saying the same..."sick of some of the posters on here". How about being a bit more constructive?
