Under license means they produce merch with Liverpool's (and Man City's, and all those American sports leagues listed) logos on them.

Majestic are the official suppliers of the MLB and do other merchandise for NFL, NBL and NHL. So they shouldn't be too bad

Reading that article, how did St Kilda sign the the dotted line, Richmond having issues with them and it said Brisbane was having issues.

Dare say that BLK sound the saints the dream and had then blinded by it, without knowing the reality and true scale of how much trouble they were in.

COAR and Majestic both entering the frame in a season, if you add in Asics that would be close to a record for new manufacturers in one go?

That Majestic logo will look great on a footy jumper I reckon.

Can anyone else go past that "Subscription" screen whenever someone provides a Newspaper link?
They must have changed it to a subscription article. I can't read it now, whereas I could before.

Can only be a good thing getting more of these global powerhouse apparel suppliers into the comp.
The fact they're flying in to do the deal is interesting - I would've thought these sorts of things are dealt with regionally. Obviously they don't have a South East Asian office/presence.

Interesting that Brisbane had already lined up Majestic for 2018, given that their contract with BLK was until the end of the 2018 season. I wonder how they planned to get out of that a year early before all this went down.

Adelaide and Gold Coast were also until the end of 2018, with GWS end of 2019. Would be interesting to know if any of them were also having supply issues and looking to get out early. Adelaide seem to be pretty tight-lipped, I haven't heard anything leak out of there yet. Gold Coast are apparently leaving the AFL to do their dealing for them, so I'd guess they hadn't been planning an early exit.
