I ordered a parcel on November 23. Paid a little extra for express delivery.

Company is based and manufactures about 20minutes from where I live. December 10 parcel still has not arrived...

I'm not sure how well Australia Post are doing but it may be phased out altogether. Canada Post are in the process of getting rid of their home delivery service. It's happening with a few national post services around the world. Private carriers are getting more popular.

While we are being disgruntled at our postal service I'll have a go too. Although I don't believe it to be auspost's fault.

Ordered something off eBay, express post. Third item via express in the last 20 days. Item was sent very promptly but that's where the express ends. The accompanying email to say it had been sent also told me express post takes three days to city centre and 6! days to more rural areas. Funny that the previous two items came within 2 days then.

I worked for Australia Post for a while, I had nothing to do with the postal service though, I worked in the head office finance department.

Whenever I told people I worked for Australia Post they always assumed I was a postie or worked at an Australia Post outlet.

Do you see men trying to push for a professional mens netball league? No you don't because it's bloody ridiculous but doesn't have the PC support.

Probably because there isn't a large demand for men to play netball professionally because they have such a large access to other sports.
