Ergo climate change can not and will not be addressed by social justice warriors, it will be changed by technology and economics. The evangelical zeal which stridently demands our self-flagelation is a conceited regression to some weirdo secular religion - awaiting doomsday.

If you really give a hoot - buy some solar panels, batteries and jump into the future. If you really give a hoot there are myriad of worthy causes within the grasp of individuals to protect environmental degradation, species extinction ...

It has abandoned rationality for symbols of compassion - all the while ignoring illegal wars, torture, the destruction of cities, the detention of children, the worst concetrTion of wealth in history, the degradation of education, health. And if someone exposes any of this they are condemn as rapists - see Assange.

The sheer scale of mendAcity is breath taking. Well the smug guardians got a reality slap.

In the end, the victory of brexit and trump is not a vote for either brexit or trump it's a rejection of prevailing global confederation of smug dunces.

I agree. It's regrettable though that those on the edge of night, to paraphrase bowie, are the victims.
Domestically and abroad. Some made that choice, many have no choice.
The system will indeed crumble, and righteousness will prevail. That's not a spiritual belief, that's my belief. That ultimately humans choose a course that benefits the greater good. After the dust settles it should be possible to assess the impact of a trump administration. The same revolution will play out in other parts of the world.
