Autopsy Positives and Negatives vs Bulldogs

The kicking for goal from both sides shows how realistic the AI is in AFL Evolution.
Wait what? Did North Korea follow through and wipe out Oz, so the Americans broadcasted an elaborate video game simulation to keep footy fans overseas happy and ignorant? Bloody decent graphics if I do say so myself.

When we drafted Mitchell I posted something along the lines of it I was hoping it was a sick joke. I am definitely eating my words now!
Kurt Mutimer I thought showed a lot of promise.

Positives
+ Winning
+ Rush, Rush give me Yeyo. Fourth quarter was huge.
+ Mutimer building very nicely.
+ McInnes in general but especially his marking and clean disposal.
+ Shred shredding it up.
+ Reasonably fair commentary from Lingy and Duck.
+ Sticking it up Brian "troglodyte" Taylor.
+ Never giving up and sticking with them in the contested possession and tackles count.

Negatives
- Kennedys goal kicking ( I never thought i'd have to write that but everyone has a bad game now and then....even JK)
- Some selfish decisions, looking at you Lecca and Mut.
- Could have gathered some good percentage if only we had kicked straight.
- I had to listen to Brian Taylor call a game.

Normally I'd agree with you, but Basil's commentary was so bad tonight that I found myself relieved every time BT took over.

Basil (8 seconds on the clock dogs 7 points down): "Maybe, just maybe it's over now!"
Ling: "it's over Basil. Are you ******* cooked?"*

*second sentence may not have happened

I'll continue on with similar to what I posted earlier in the game day thread:

I don't understand the negativity in regard to the game - we won.

The game was played completely on our terms aside from the last 10 minutes when fatigue from the runslog against Port last week kicked in.

If Kennedy and Lecras kick 9.3 instead of 3.9 we win by 40 and it becomes a flogging.

We have the best defensive setup in the league. A setup that is also now fundamentally changing the way the game is being played.

This team is showing potential to become something very special indeed.

For those who are round-ball aware (or fans of FM) there is a deep-lying attacking role dubbed by the Italians as a "Regista" (Director). I doubt the term will hold here (probably Zoneback, Quaterback or Flyback etc will become prominent), however it cannot be ignored. The Regista, or in AFL terms, the intercept marking counterattack specialist, is without doubt where the next step in the evolution of the sport will occur.

And we are currently the best placed team in the league to profit from that.

good to get the 4 pts
Kennedy was good took 9 marks and presented well not like him to spray his kicking though which could have sunk us ..
Mitchell first half was brilliant loved his roving at one point to shark the ball from the rucktap
Frase was good really impressed
Yeo is back to becoming a contender for B.F

Hill ,Wellingham were poor

Not sure if it has been said already but that throw against redden was a ******* disgrace. As a club I'd challenge that.

A much maligned player did something great and got pinged for nothing.

Unacceptable and those slime green campaigners can **** right off.
Here here ^^. My partner is a one eyed doggies supporter and she is blaming the umpires for our win.
Eagles do anything and everyone complains

This is always interesting. Caleb Daniel was huge for them, seemed to be everywhere in the last, as was Wood. Then comes a pretty even spread of Eagles contributors. Many Eagles were down on their average, which makes the win more of a relief.

It wasn't his worst game but Darling is making me lose my mind each week with his softness.

Goes to ground every contest, weak, won't use his strength (if he even has any), not to mention his typical throwing of the head back like he's just been assassinated.

He's halfway through his career and i think I've finally realized this isn't going to change.
