Sydney. It is essential to the Sydney market that the Swans not only make the Grand Final but win it this year having the lost in 2016.

Thats good news

sydney have beaten geelong at the mcg, kardinia, anz and the scg recently. can get the job done anywhere. who can forget the 110 point thrashing game?
That game was a thing of beauty:p

Who wouldn't the Swans want to play in the finals with the dogs now likely out? Full strength Giants perhaps?
i dont think the swans fear the dogs. have been unlucky many times for various reasons. i would still say gws even though they beat them tonight.

Not sure I really get the 'Sydney has the wood on Geelong' echo chamber on here.

They had our measure last year, and that's it, as far as I'm concerned. It's two different teams.

You've won 1 from the last 5?

Also correct on the two different teams. Your team used to be much better.

Giants at full strength would be hard to beat. Even tonight they were hard to get over and they are missing a few.

If we are able to extrapolate the initial perceived potential in Tippet, things would be a lot different. Instead, now he's a salary cap hog, and 'a good' player at best.

Giants are Overhyped, should be Crows and Cats Grand Final, too hard for Swans to win it from outside top 4.

Crows draw has been soft. Haven't played anyone decent away from home. Hard to gauge if they are the real deal.
They will get 2 home finals if they win, then the Grand Final at the G, they are good enough to do it. There are no stand out teams this
year, but the Crows are well placed to win their home finals. The Swans will have to win the flag from 5-8, not impossible like bulldogs last year, but
very unlikely!

Swans fans getting confident. Perhaps rightly so.

I have a feeling they'll burn out.
The problem for the Swans is they have to keep winning to make the 8, where as the Cats and Crows can afford to lose games
and cruise to the finals, They need too much luck to win it this year.

Pity that champion data at the start of the year judged the Crows to have the hardest draw.
