Hey North fans. Let's say all your plans come to fruiton and you land commitments from both Kelly AND Dusty. How do you think North will trade for each?

It's been suggested Gws will want two first rounders for Kelly, which seems about right. Perhaps a first rounder and a player in a pinch, although not sure who they'd want as the list is pretty complete.

Dusty is restricted, and I'd imagine it plays out a little like the Adelaide and Geelong deal for Danger. We wouldn't quite get the same as if he was completely unrestricted, but we'd get decent compo. I'd imagine a top pick and a player (Shaun Atley would go alright)

Complicating further is current ladder position. if north remain second last, if a player gets past Brisbane they can snag him for free in the PSD.

Last week, the Kangaroos looked like they’d decided this season was done. You know it’s the end of the year for them, as they’ve started dropping the older players. Lindsay Thomas and Todd Goldstein have been omitted this week.

I’d be worried if I was them. North are a football club roughly based on the 1976 movie Logan’s Run, in which everyone is killed at the age of thirty to stop overpopulation. That strategy has worked wonders for North this year.

Apparently, the Kangaroos are trying to land Dustin Martin and Josh Kelly, a bold move and one to be applauded. It’s win-win for everyone. If they land them it’s a huge success for the club, if they don’t, it will be hilarious, like watching your mate strike out at a nightclub.

the thing with danger is, he took unders to get home, hence the crows would have matched if a deal wasnt done.
if the tiges match, we wont trade for him. but can they match the offer? so far, they are 300k ish off the mark.
