Story I heard was that they said they would take him and then reneged on said promise.

Sounds like that was probably the case.
They told him 2weeks before exams. His dad then unleashed fury on the pies.

Is playing the Lynch role for us.

We have a very Adelaide like forward setup.

Joe-Walker
Hooker-Jenkins
Stewart-Lynch
Fanta-Cameron
Walla-Betts

Expect we play our smalls more are a roving band of HFs and Betts plays deep. Plus we have Green!

Yeah, that was a dick move on their part.

Cameron has played more wing this year now, and you're forgetting McGovern. I would tweak it slightly and say:

Daniher-Walker
Hooker-McGovern
Stewart-Jenkins

Our mediums/smalls don't really correlate to Lynch or Betts, but I expect Lav to do a sort of Lynch role soon.

Hooker plays deep forward like Walker

Jenkins plays roaming fwd like Joey

Stewart plays link up role that Lynch plays
Walker actually rarely plays deep. That's why he's outright second in Goal Assists in the AFL. Jenkins plays similarly to Stewart, sometimes deep, sometimes up the ground. McGovern is usually their deepest forward

Yeah Lynch doesn't play deep at all. And Stewart gets up on the wing a fair bit and alternates back deep.

I think my original comparisons are fair to the roles, though individual players have their differences within that.

Jenkins moves about a bit more than hooker, but he still plays mostly deep. Difference is hooker tried to play lead up at the footy and jenkins leads hard forward and back.

Cameron does get up on the wing, but Walla gets up there too. Just doesn't get as much of the footy.

Becoming a very good player.

Thought he took some nice marks again today and probably set up a couple of goals. His workrate is second to none and creates the perfect link up player.

Opposition starting to respect him because at times today he had two and three opponents.

Watching live you could see from the 2nd quarter onwards the dogs were pushing extra numbers into defence. I don't think it was designed for Stewart but just to clog our forward line.

Even when he was up on the wings he was getting teamed up.

His marking has vastly improved throughout the year but when he's deep in the forward line he still needs to learn to make body contact.

Almost our best I reckon!

He's a very very good player - quick, tall, great hands, uses it well, has a bit of forward craft.

Just shows what's hidden at GWS!
Joe and Darce were better, I have him around equal with Hartley and McKenna.

Stewart was impressive today, his gut running and second efforts are fantastic.
