You really didn't listen to Pyke a few weeks ago when he discussed the possibility about resting players did you? He said back then that we would consider it depending on results as finals would be the priority. If we needed to win this game, then Talia and Tex would play but we don't need to so they are not being played. Greenwood is being rested because of his lack of football endurance. We want him right for finals. This is smart and mature moves by our club to give us the best possible chance for the finals.

Gold Coast, with the players they have out, are far and away the worst side in the comp. Port Power have had a game as hard as a marshmellow tonight. Horrific finals prep. They will crumble in September with the slightest physical pressure. lol

Greenwood was rested earlier this year. He was named as an emergency for that game and didn't play the SANFL game. The exact same thing has happened here with him in that he has travelled over to Perth as one of the travelling emergencies. That fact alone proves you wrong.

How gullible are you? Have a short think about if it was a final tomorrow and if Tex and Talia would be suiting up. Yes they have niggles. Yes they will be rested. Good move Don.

Nope, he said you have to weigh up the need to rest with the need for continuity. The match committee have decided that resting was the better option this weekend. There is no need to win this game.
