I don't mind the Stringer suggestion in the Gibbs / Lever 3 way deal.
Yes, the 2017 version was plain but he's been the Dogs leading goal-kicker for the last 3 years and in 2015 (as a 20/21 year old) kicked 56 goals and was an All Australian forward.
He doesn't miss to many games, we're desperate for more goal-kickers and he's 5 year younger than Gibbs. He can also pinch hit on the ball quite effectively too....

Stringer no where near playing top level footy. Off field issues really affecting him... nothing good can happen with family break ups at a young age...

This (although I see it as unlikely) would also allow us to fill the role we'd have wanted Rayner for, allowing focus on mids, mids, mids.

My understanding is that the blues were very confident they had Hopper.

Seems the choice for Kennedy is whether he wants to play for lions or blues or stay in gws.

In that draft stars video he said he'd like to play for a Melbourne club...so I'd think it's GWS or us, not sure he'd want to go to Bris Vegas

Guy is a sook on-field when things aren't going his way.

Stringer had a bad year, the reasons for which have been alluded to. If all parties believe a change of scenery will see him back at his best then we'd be silly not to have a look. Every other club in Victoria will be.

If there are doubts as to whether he can turn it around for the better, then you steer clear.

And no, the statement that you're only as good as your last game doesn't always ring true.

He's leaving because he's not getting opportunities to play in a Premiership unless there's 2-3 injuries. Even then he's played out of position.

He's only 20 though he would hope he has enough talent to become good enough to make it.

Gibbs , Lever, Stringer in a 3 way deal

Is absolute rubbish.

It has already been made known publicly that Lever will NOT be going to the Dogs.

So we can scrap that one.

I'd love all our players to be that shit.

In a premiership side I'd suggest it's probably easier to kick goals as a forward. Stringer would blow a gasket the way our midfield delivers the ball.

He's an extremely low percentage play imo, not the type of player we should look to at this stage of a rebuild.
