- Carlton officially an interested party in Rockliff (have told both his manager and Brisbane that they want to speak to him). Set to be the effective replacement for Gibbs, who will request a trade to Adelaide again.
- Stringer "life and lifestyle issues" pushing him out of the Dogs, Libratore and Dalhaus have also been told to sharpen up. Geelong is the one he wants to get to. Barrett reckons pick 20 gets it done. Also thinks Cats still get Ablett on top of Stringer, to McGuire's bemusement about the salary cap.
- Melbourne now feel they have Lever.
- Solomon opted out of the process for Gold Coast coach, also "some unknown" about him staying there as an assistant...

What a load of horse shit. Buckley has a small window of 2 years to get this club back into finals. He will need to make finals next year, otherwise that second year will be a pipe dream.
I dont think the club will be sitting on its hands this trade period, in order to improve our deficiencies. Plus the club will not want to be seen as to being setting up Bucks to fail.
The club is looking at its options and will be busy this trade period, and making sure we bring in the right players and people to make sure we play finals next year.
Can you imagine the media frenzy next year if we didnt trade in players to cover our deficiencies and we showed no improvement. Be an absolute tearing of Bucks' A hole. l dont think the club would or will risk that happening.
PS. lm flying off to the US and Canada tomorrow for a few weeks, and will be more than happy to not read some of the crap on here.!!!!
