My sister had it first and my parents made me sleep with her so I'd get it. Smart thing to do but still

For the record- I caught it off my brother too. No sleeping in the same bed necessary- and I avoided him like the plague too. Still got it.

I had German measles. Still not sure what the difference is. Not quite as fun or something.
For the duration of your illness you have this strange desire to invade Poland.

Nothing worse than people being late.

Everyone I know is like this. I am always waiting for 30-60 mins

So you get there 30-60 mins later :p Or tell them 30-60 mins earlier than the actual time you want to meet up.

(But I know your pain, I'm one of those who are always on time if not early)

Mild case of chickenpox for my youngest. It's times like this where it sucks having no family around. Wife and I will have to rotate days off work.

Hope they get better soon. It sucks when your kids are sick. Hopefully they don't get shingles when they're older. I've had that twice, and it's not a pleasant experience.

I had shingles on my hip in grade two and had to take two weeks off school. Painful stuff, couldn't walk without it burning and stinging badly. Even putting your hand close to it stung as it makes the pain receptors so sensitive

I thought shingles died out in the 1800s.

I had measles when I was a kid, remember being bed ridden for days and having really weird dreams/hallucinations.

Ahhhhhhhrrrrggg I hate people being late. There is no rational reason but it shits me. I am an impatient person and hate being kept waiting.

As for sickness. I was simply a toughen up type person. Till I got/still have the flu this Winter. I was whimpering like a little baby begging for pain relief/Euthanasia. I mean I hated covering for sick people which I did all the fing time. Now I think 40 hours is too many/our whole economic system is whacked. I literally thought I was going blind. The eyes are a very sensitive organ.

My constant dull headache and facial hotness to one side, along with pins and needles. Anyone wanna swap for a cough?

When I go to an understaffed On the Run (servo) and I'm stuck waiting to pay for my petrol/cigs because the one employee is stuck making coffee for some moron.

Seriously, who the **** needs a latte when they're driving somewhere? What kind of uncultured **** orders a coffee from a petrol station?

I can understand if you're on a fishing trip and you're having your hourly stop over or something, but these idiots are clearly on the way home from work or some such. And this is in ADELAIDE. I can guarantee these tools are 5-20 minutes away from where they gotta be.

MAKE A COFFEE WHEN YOU GET HOME AND LET ME PAY AND MOVE ON! FFS.

Back to my story from earlier this week. And more importantly about this friend that wants to invite everyone on Saturday. I gave up and let him invitee whoever, but little does he know I'm going to bail on them and hang out with people I invited.

Anywho, this friend, let's call him Sid, because it's going to be easier to write and a I think he may end up coming in later posts.

So Sid is throwing a birthday for himself next month. But I don't understand his logic for inviting people. We went out to another friends birthday today and he was inviting everyone from there, even though he he has only met them an hour ago.

On Sunday, he was saying not to incite someone to this dance on Saturday, because he didn't like there person, yet this person was invited to Sid's birthday.

And on Monday, I was talking to him about this girl that I had invited to Saturday night. Sid doesn't know this person. Next day, invited to the birthday.

Help me understand this. Please.
