Matera deal already done. Move on to other target .Hope we get Matera. It really is just about the price, but I am struggling to remember the last time we "overpaid" for a player.
Feeding Weller (Wilson) and Walters (Matera) more into the midfield play is a terrific strategy with far-reaching implications for us. We simultaneously become more potent from the defense, through the midfield and in attack.
Thanks for your advice. If it is okay with you I will post what I want to post.Matera deal already done. Move on to other target .
No problem .Thanks for your advice. If it is okay with you I will post what I want to post.
That is a side effect of your patronising nature. No problem , I like to nag at you .
I promise one poster I don't want to put a negative spin on one particular player here .That is a side effect of your patronising nature.
At risk of getting howled down myself, a local journo who I won't name, has this morning revealed that Nathan Wilson wants his manager to accompany him to today's exit meeting with his coach as he doesn't think the coach will like it when he tells him he wants to go home....Full moon today?
Spot on. We become better from defense, midfield and the quality of inside 50's/attack should be better because of it.Hope we get Matera. It really is just about the price, but I am struggling to remember the last time we "overpaid" for a player.

Taking "pick 5 to the draft" and "go hard at Jack Martin" are mutually exclusive aren't they?Matera for Sutcliffe. Or pick 55.
Wilson we'll need to pay overs. Possibly a future 2nd + and upgrade somewhere in later rounds in favour of GWS.
Get whatever we can for Suban, Balic, Sheriden, Sutcliffe.
Take pick 5 to the draft.
Somehow attempt to land some future picks from clubs, although I did just suggest giving up future 2nd.
Do that and we've had a good post season.
Land a couple of other WA boys like Mountford for nothing and we've done great.
Land a left field trade and we've possibly done excellently.
I still think we go hard at Jack Martin as part of Matera trade.
GC currently have a stack of 2nd rounders and will likely get something around that mark for Ablett.
Pick 5 for Matera and Martin + upgrade one of our 3rds for one of their 2nds and that would be an awesome deal. That may also give us the pick to land Wilson.
I'd love a left field trade that involved someone like Martin.
I'll take that bet and i'll go oversI don't think Matera would score 20 here

I don't think we should lightly trade a golden ticket like pick 5, but everything should be on the table if it is to our advantage. We saw last year that in the circumstances that a club like GWS find themselves that can happen. No way should we have a closed mind about pick 5.
What would he sound like if he was promising?Wilson doesn't sound that promising to me
What would he sound like if he was promising?
boom boom
Sounds like the wheels are in motion. Colin Young leaks in the post season are quite predictable. At risk of getting howled down myself, a local journo who I won't name, has this morning revealed that Nathan Wilson wants his manager to accompany him to today's exit meeting with his coach as he doesn't think the coach will like it when he tells him he wants to go home....

nice. subtle.Schloithe is definitely a better fit for their 'gamestyle'. If not them, then Geelong.
