Would have been written months ago. They knew this was coming. His commitment to 5AA has pushed him back in his slot on Trade Radio, lol. I expect he'll parrot the same responses there.

You answered your own question - it's not a real club.

They set up a stale, vanilla, process and structure driven, corporate like environment and then wonder why nobody wants to play there. There is no history, no culture, no genuine supporter engagement, no long time volunteers telling you stories about decades past, no club rooms to go back to. They are the Matthew Lobbe of AFL clubs - they don't have a soul.

So when a player gets offered more money (Phil Davis, Kurt Tippett), better working conditions aka living in your home state (Patrick Dangerfield, Jack Gunston, Jake Lever) or a combination of the two, what actual reason is there to stay?

Lobbe does not deserve that slur!
