Sounds like what the braves did is rife in the league, and Manfred wants to make an example of them. Probably a tad harsh to ban him for life.
Right or wrong, not complaining about the outcome. Hopefully one less team to worry about going forward
I’ve been reading that the Braves still have a top 2 farm system in Baseball. That’s how strong it is. The loss of these prospects does hurt but in terms of trade chips moving forward and some (Maitan) might’ve been big leaguers in 4-5 years but in terms of building a contender, the Braves are still in a very good position to be a contender by 2020.
Good luck with the lesser manager.
I can't believe any Yankee fan can truly believe they expected to be so close to a World Series this season.
HowIn my opinion that was more so in spite of the manager rather than due to
Yet most of them played better than they ever have before. His use of the Bullpen was horrific.
Limited feel for the momentum of a game.
Apparently lost a number of the players.
Yet most of them played better than they ever have before.
Most had a much bigger spike than expected, will be surprised if Gigi and Judge don't regress among others.Young players naturally develop.
And hence why i said in spite of rather than due to
The "finalists" for Ohtani are in, all the west coast clubs plus the Cubs are in the mix
Kevin Maitan has signed for the LA Angels. Pretty big signing for them. That farm system is dreadful so it’s a start
