And yet we have been told there are tens of millions of Chinese people watching each of their games over there and that exposure is what potential sponsors would be fighting for.

Silent J putting it forward that it's our fault Poort cant get a major sponsor, somehow if we give them just 2 of our free to air games a year all would be sweet.

Bit like one of his other "theories" where if each Poort player kicked an extra 30m per game they would win the flag.

Very strange unit.

Wasnt the China Syndrome meant to solve their sponsorship woes? They just need to convert 1% of the population to Oliveball and they will be set for life.

It’s not hard to get a major sponsor when you settle for whatever you can get.

It is hard to get one when you have settled in the past and are trying to increase the price while the league has given all your FTA games to shit campaigner teams like Adelaide under the mistaken belief they’ll both be another Hawthorn or Geelong.

13 matches on FTA compared to 5. With two of those 5 matches being against a low rating team like the Bulldogs and a middling side like Melbourne who will once again do nothing.

Geelong and Richmond games are what we have to sell to sponsors wanting national exposure.

But it won’t always be like that. When we win the flag, it will be impossible for the AFL to shunt us into ridiculous time slots while a bunch of hacks from West Lakes who shat the bed get the limelight.

Earlier he was saying that the reason for the delay is that there was a fight amongst competing sponsors for who gets it.

Would love to see him back in the AFL system. He was good enough. But I believe the Walsh death affected him.

We can't shut him out of official AFL stuff, unless he somehow lost his accreditation there, whether he chooses to show up or not is another matter, but that sounds like something he'd do to continue his narrative that the Crows are out to get him.
