I really have to give it to whoever first coined #shockjockkane (not sure whether it was the King or Chompers).

It really describes the physical aversion I get when seeing or hearing him. It's similar to when Andrew Bolt or Kyle Sandilands is coming. You know you're just getting nonsense for the primary purpose of pissing people off and there's no chance of getting any insight into anything.

I've been completely #shockjockkane media free for 12 months now (short of seeing something posted on twitter, facebook or here) and it's improved my sanity substantially.

And what’s damning about that is that their competition here in SA is Lewie and Jars which is absolute drivel that is impossible to listen to.

Seriously reckon SA footy fans are just switching off. More of us should do podcasts as no doubt there’s an audience for it.

I’ve completely stopped listening to 5AA & MMM arvo’s this year just can’t do it anymore it’s gotten so bad. I don’t listen to, watch or read anything either of the two flogs this thread is about are involved in. Only thing I really listen to now is the Crowcast, love the job those fellas do.

I’m pretty much over all footy media at the moment actually most of them just talk shit or are full of it.

The footy media has got so big that to remain relevant they mostly all talk just for the sake of it, which mostly results in them talking crap.

Now I know a lot on here love AFL 360 but I find it the biggest wank on Fox Footy.

I’m the same with Foxfooty. I was a big fan of their shows until last year with the way 360 turned against the Crows after our first victory against Geelong and leading up to and after the GF turned me off completely. I lost a lot of respect for Gerard and boof head. I can’t watch On the couch with Gary Lyons. So not much point in keeping Foxtel really. Think I’ll just cancel and become a pirate!
