Waited, waited, waited ...

Good: 9-goal win, take it, 4 points.
McGovern!

Bad: 2nd quarter, terrible
Crouch's little dinky grubbers *slaps forehead*

Ugly: Injury (?) to Milera.
Slow Fog.

Have at it ...
Acronym = GBU. ;)

Actually this is a fair point. That might have been the first time he's had his colours lowered since coming into the side.

Ditto Talia as well who got belted by Casaboult
Got belted, boy you sure can layer the mayo on?

The only 'good' wins we've had, really. It's still heartening to see we're 3rd with the 3rd highest % though.

I'll try and keep negatives to a minimum given how much I've spouted but.

In that time though we have played St Kilda, Carlton and Gold Coast who are all crap.

Will be interesting to see how we go with some of our tougher matches in the next few rounds

Good
- McGovern, Douglas, Laird, Greenwood, Jenkins, Seedsman, Eddie being back

Bad
- Milera’s injury
- Fogarty and Sauce’s easy misses

Ugly
- the second quarter
- Doedee falling over costing us two goals

AND ...
Needs to look where his mates are BEFORE he gets the ball (lacks awareness!).
Needs to think/act more quickly.
Needs not to telegraph his feints/balks.
But, hey, he's still a kid, great future.

Next week, IN: Tex OUT: Fog
All minor things. As you say he has a great future ahead if him.

I won't be too unhappy if he spends the rest of the year in the SANFL to learn all of these facets of his game.

Learn to rip apart and dominate a game.

Fairly boring game, like a lot of games this season.

Gov was the highlight. Great to see him back in form and finding those sticky hands.

We still look a fair way off our best - probably 5-6 goals a game off where we should be. Too many fumbles and missed handballs, and we were far too cute with the ball on a number of occasions (such as Gallucci's 15m pass which resulted in the Doedee falling over incident).

Gibbs was down (only 4 contested possessions) but our support cast of Douglas, Greenwood and CEY were all good once again.

Not all games can be blockbusters though. Bank the win and move on (to the showdown).

Good : Did what we had to do.
McGovern's hands, it was as sticky as humanly possible!

Bad: Switching off for an entire quarter.
Milera had some kind of mystical injury/awareness? Just when he was looking to fire it up this year!

Ugly: Carlton's prospects of making the Finals.

I feel deflated after that 2nd quarter. I don't think this team will contend this year. Crows are way too Jekyll & Hyde and we can't seem to stem the flow of injuries and get some real continuity going.
